Joe Mooneyham

Joe Mooneyham has been handling plaintiff’s litigation for over thirty years. 
 
He has represented victims of medical negligence, defective product failures, police misconduct, nursing home neglect or abuse, automobile collisions, including tractor trailer collisions, and other serious incidents or events.
 
Joe is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a society whose members are attorneys who have documented extensive trial participation. Joe estimates that he has tried more than 100 cases to verdict in state and federal courts during his career.
 
Further, Joe has argued a number of cases to the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court.

    Emphasis in complex or serious personal injury litigation, residential construction litigation and business litigation, with experience in class claims in the Acromed pedicle screw cases, MDL 926 and the Dow Corning bankruptcy as well as over 100 trials to verdict in state and federal courts.  


    Has filed or tried at least one matter in NC, Tenn, VA (fed ct), Alabama and GA, and has taken or defended depositions in more than 20 states.
